Big News!!!!

Jeff, Brady, Bryce and I have some big new to share with everyone!!! I hope you are all sitting down because this may be a little bit of a shock. We are going to be adding another baby into this already crazy household!! Yes, I am pregnant! I am almost out of my first trimester, and we are feeling confident in telling everyone our news. I have had a couple of ultrasounds, and the baby is growing nicely and has a very strong heartbeat. I just ordered a home doppler which allows me to listen to the baby's heartbeat at home (a huge relief for a worry-wort like me) and I just found a very strong baby floating away in there.

While this was a huge shock, and it can be a little scary thinking that we will have 3 kids under the age of 4 (yikes), we are extremely excited about adding our LAST child to this family. I am due the beginning of January, but with my track record, this will most likely be a Christmas baby. Of course, we (I) am hoping for a girl, but as long as we have a healthy baby, I don't care what the sex is. Please continue to send up some prayers that I am able to carry a healthy baby full-term and also pray for our sanity and for God to grant us with lots of patience. I am so far very much enjoying this pregnancy, although I have been so sick. I feel a sense of peace surrounding me, which is very different from my pregnancy with Bryce. I have had 2 nausea-free days, which gives me hope that I am over that terrible first trimester sickness, and I can get onto the wonderful second trimester of pregnancy.

I will keep everyone posted as this pregnancy progresses. I wish I could share my ultrasound pics, but we don't have a scanner, so if you picture a seahorse about the size of a lima bean, well then that is what my pics look like. Stay tuned!!!
