Long-Overdue

I have been a bad blogging mommy lately.  Truth of the matter is---I don't have a good excuse, other than-I'm tired.  Everytime I sit down on the computer, I look at my blog, and I think, "ugh, it's too exhausting to type out and post pics today."  Pathetic, right?  I never could have imagined how difficult a 3rd pregnancy could be.  I am feeling it!  I walked out of the house the other day, and Jeff was talking to our neighbor and he looks at me and says, "wow, you look tired."  I thought, well, yes I am, but really?!?  Do I look that tired?  It was the end of the day, and frankly, I was tired.

However....the countdown has begun and I am getting excited and nervous.  We are starting to get Laine's room ready for her.  The boys have made the big move, and are now officially roomates.  They love it and their room looks super cute.  It has been a fairly easy transition, although we have our moments.  I wanted to get the settled in now so that there wasn't a ton of adjustment all at once when Laine arrived.  I think her being here will be enough to throw into the pot, let alone, the boys in a new living situation at the same time.  So, baby steps........

I am 28 weeks pregnant (tomorrow) and even though I may complain a lot (back aches, BHC's, worry, tiredness) things are going very smoothly (knock on wood).  I have gained the least amount of weight so far as I have with the boys by this point.  I am holding steady at 13 lbs.  I think that just has to do with the endless act of chasing these boys around.  I do manage to get a nap in daily, which is quite frankly a saving grace.  I will begin bi-weekly dr appts here soon, and really I cannot believe how fast things are going.

In other news............we are enjoying fall-time so much.  The leaves are starting to change (and fall), but luckily Jeff has a new fancy contraption for the tractor mower, so leaf pick-up should be a piece of cake this year.  The boys and I have been to the apple orchard twice now to pick apples, and I, yes I, have even canned applesauce.  It has been a fun learning experience, but I will tell ya that there is nothing better!  The applesauce is so pure and delicious, which makes the hard work worth it.  Today we will be visiting a pumpkin patch, which will be a seperate post later this week.

Jeff started a new job last week, and it is glorious.  He is working for the government, and let me tell ya-I think we both agree this is going to be great.  Aside from the significant pay increase, the benefits are amazing.  By benefits, I don't just mean the healthcare, which IS great, but he leaves work at 4:30, which means we actually eat dinner around 5:45, as opposed to 7pm.  Also, he already has tomorrow off for Columbus Day!!!!  We feel very blessed for him to have landed this opportunity, and cannot wait to see where this takes him in his career.

Well, enough babble for now.  That is our update from my long break in the blogging world.  I will try to be a little better!  Here are a couple of random pics!

I can't believe you are as far along as I was when I had the twins...scary! It was. I know the more pregnancies, it seems like the harder it is on your body. I hear you, some days I just don't want to walk upstairs to the computer...LOL. Oh, we use homemade pocket diapers, and they are wonderful! I have a pattern if you want it. A friend gave me/made all of them for me!
