Brady will be 4 years old this Wed, and we had a bowling birthday party for him yesterday. We have never had a real birthday party for him, other then with just family, so we thought now that he is 4, it was time to throw him a party with friends. Since Michigan now is a smoke-free state, I thought a bowling alley would be so much fun, and now we didn't have to worry about the smoke. Brady has never been bowling, but I knew he would love it. The party was a success. It was so much fun just to watch his little face, and his friends too. Even if you didn't bowl (which I didn't, and a lot of adults didn't either) it was a hoot just to watch the kids interact and play. Wow, they got so excited when they would knock the pins down. It was a priceless afternoon, and I am so happy that we were able to give our little boy a fun party!
These were the cookies we gave out for party-favors (aren't they cute?)
Brady helping me cut ribbon for his party-favors (he looks sooo old)
Bryce enjoyed the party too!
The birthday boy!!!
Holy Moly-a family picture!!!!!!
Wed is Brady's "real" birthday, so the celebrations will continue. On Wed I am bringing in a treat for his class, and then Wed night we will have a special dinner for him and cake and presents with just us. Do you remember when your birthday celebration lasted a week or two?
