Sorry, I have been a bad blogger lately. Worse, I have been a horrible picture-taker. My camera battery needs charged and I have yet to do so. That will change though because my mom and dad are coming to town to visit over the next 2 weeks, and I will have a lot of fun things to capture.
So, what have we been up to? Well, a week or so ago, Bryce came down with his 7th ear infection since October and his pediatrician finally sent us to an ENT. I took him to the dr. today, and he highly suggested inserting tubes ASAP. Bryce's ears were still full of fluid (after 10 days worth of antibiotics) and it is just acting as a perfect barrier for bacteria to grow. So, I am currently waiting for the dr.'s secretary to call me to set-up the surgery, which should occur in the next week or two. I am anxious just to get it over with.
Two days after Bryce's EI, Brady came down with a super high fever, vomiting, and lethargy that lasted for about 24 hours. It was hard because Brady is such a healthy child, and he was down for the count. Luckily, he bounced back rather quickly. He is back to being his spunky, 3-year old self!
I am currently in my 14th week of pregnancy and things are looking good. I have my genetic testing (first trimester) and all came back negative for down's syndrome and trisomy-18. While I know I am low-risk for these genetic disorders, it always provides me with great relief to get those negative test results back. I feel like it is just another check I can add to my list. Now, we just sit back, let this baby grow and wait until August 11 to find out what this baby is!!!!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I will post some new pics soon-I promise!
