Little Blessings

I am trying to have more of a "the cup is half-full" mentality these days, as opposed to "half-empty."  I have decided to make a conscience effort to find little blessings in my everyday life.  This week has been a bit of a challenge for me, as I have just been in a crummy mood....it must be my womanly hormones.  I started the week by telling Jeff not to hold me accountable for anything that came out of my mouth as it was my hormones speaking, not me.  He politely laughed and walked out of the room.  Bryce has been a little demanding this week too.  I'm not sure if his ears are still bothering him, his new teeth breaking through, or him simply reacting to my mood.  However....we have had some frusturating days.  I am trying to adjust to this new work schedule, and still be a fun mother to my children.  Thus, I think admist this crazy week, I need to list my little blessings this week.
*Yesterday at church, 2 of the moms in Brady's room told me how polite and sweet he is, and that I was doing a great job raising him.  (This was much needed, as lately I am not feeling like the best mother).
* I had coffee with a friend this morning, while the kids played, we have a really wonderful convo regarding children, and how different it is with #1, #2, and so on.  It made me feel like my trials are very common in motherhood.
* Jeff and I had a very sweet evening together simply laying on the couch watching tv under a blanket.  I cannot remember the last time we did that, but I am already craving doing it again-very soon-with a fire in our new fireplace.
*  Bryce went down with no fight during both naps today-something rare this week.
These are just a few blessings I have had in the past day or two.  I am going to make a promise to myself to find little blessings everyday.  What are your little blessings?

Very funny Leigh. "Don't hold me accountable for anything that comes out of my mouth." Hilarious. Boy do I ever need to say that to Jared sometimes. Too funny, that got a chuckle out of me. I hope you are hanging in there with work. You are a wonder woman.
